Student Employment - Baseball Camp Counselor

About the Role:

The Baseball Camp Counselor assists with the planning and operation of baseball camps held throughout the fall and winter seasons. This position provides instruction, guidance, and support to youth athletes while helping create a positive, safe, and engaging camp experience.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of baseball fundamentals, rules, and techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with youth athletes of varying ages and skill levels.
• Willingness to assist with coaching and instruction.
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist coaches and staff with the daily operation of baseball camps.
• Provide instruction and guidance to youth athletes during drills, practices, and camp activities.
• Demonstrate proper baseball techniques and fundamentals.
• Help set up and tear down equipment before and after camp sessions.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for all participants.
• Serve as a mentor and role model for younger athletes.
• Support coaches with administrative and organizational tasks as needed.
