Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? We're looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to join our growing team and play a key role in ensuring the timely flow of materials, supplies, and equipment that keep our operations successful.

In this role, you'll work closely with suppliers, operations teams, and internal stakeholders to manage purchase orders, track deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and support inventory management. What You'll Do

  • As our Purchasing Coordinator, you will:
  • Create, process, and manage purchase orders for materials, supplies, and equipment
  • Monitor order status and ensure on-time delivery of critical materials
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve delays, shortages, pricing issues, and order discrepancies
  • Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices while ensuring accuracy
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records within our ERP system
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities
  • Assist with supplier performance evaluations and vendor relationship management
  • Support cost-control initiatives by identifying pricing discrepancies and purchasing opportunities
  • Collaborate with warehouse, receiving, and operations teams to ensure smooth material flow
  • Respond to internal requests regarding product availability, lead times, and order status
  • Maintain vendor files and purchasing documentation
  • Assist with monthly cycle counts and inventory discrepancy investigations
  • Review overstock reports and work with management on inventory optimization efforts

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of purchasing, procurement, inventory, or related administrative experience
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as Acumatica or similar purchasing software
  • Knowledge of purchasing, procurement, and inventory management practices
