Job Summary

Lead a team of Compliance Project Managers responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring enterprise quality and regulatory compliance initiatives. This role serves as the central coordination point for complex stainability programs, including product file updates, quality management processes, post market management, audit readiness, manufacturing enhancements and other strategic compliance projects. The Manager provides leadership, governance, and project management expertise to ensure successful execution of high-priority business and compliance objectives.

Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Ā Ā 

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of project managers to ensure that deadlines and project goals are met.Ā 
  • Contribute to resource planning based on evolving organizational needs.Ā 
  • Collaborate with divisional personnel, quality, regulatory, legal, and manufacturers to develop timelines, identify necessary resources, and establish clear lines of communication to ensure successful execution.Ā 
  • Monitor progress of compliance initiatives and proactively identify risks that could impact timelines, deliverables, or regulatory commitments.Ā 
  • Lead escalation and issue resolution processes with senior leadership and project sponsors.Ā Ā 
  • Facilitate alignment across total compliance initiatives to ensure holistic integration of corrective actions and communicationĀ

Management responsibilities include:Ā Ā 

  • Day-to-day operations of a group of employees.Ā 
  • May have limited budgetary responsibility and usually contributes to budgetary impact.Ā 
  • Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects and develops.Ā 
  • Recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies. Provide general guidelines and parameters for staff functioning.Ā 
  • Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.Ā 

Education:Ā 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology or related science field.Ā 

Work Experience:Ā 

  • At least 4 years of experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical related field.Ā 
  • Experience in the indirect management of team members, including assisting in the development, training and assignment of work/projects to other members of a team.Ā 
  • Experience assessing and initiating actions independently.Ā 
  • Experience taking charge of a situation, team or project.Ā 
  • Experience processing all relevant details, understanding and prioritizing their importance and drawing clear and concise conclusions.Ā 
  • Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.Ā 

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:Ā 

  • PMP CertificationĀ 
  • Experience supporting post market activitiesĀ 
  • At least 5 years of R&D experience in the healthcare industry.Ā 
  • Experience supervising and leading cross-functional teams.Ā 
  • Experience controlling and coordinating concurrent projects, competing priorities and critical deadlines.Ā

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$134,000.00 - $201,000.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
