Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position): 

CPR Instructors hold monthly classes (AHA BLS, Heartsaver, and first aid) for students, faculty, staff, and the public at St. Olaf. They will use equipment supplied by St. Olaf EMTs and will work with other instructors to coordinate and facilitate classes.

• Prepare and maintain equipment

Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills) 

• AHA BLS Instructor Certification

• NREMT/EMSRB Certification

• Membership with SOEMT

Physical and Environmental Factors:

This position requires crouching, stooping, twisting/pivoting, and lifting and carrying objects up to 20 lbs. to perform the essential functions. It also requires exposure to loud noise to perform the essential functions. Candidates must possess the ability to safely perform the physical work required of all duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
