Job DetailsJob Location: Norwell - Administration - Norwell, MA 02061Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $22.80 - $25.00 HourlySUMMARY Plans, delivers, and evaluates trainings as scheduled.  Maintains trainer certification(s) in Safety Care Core, Advanced Safety care, and Medic First Aid, and others as assigned. Complete all documentation as required.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Complete and maintain annual Safety Care Trainer certification, to include advanced modules and other trainings as assigned Facilitate Safety Care and/or MFA trainings a minimum of once a month Complete all required documentation, and coordinate with Human Resources and Quality to ensure documentation is in accordance with standards. Assist in development of innovative teaching techniques while following mandated course content Participate in on-the-job training and provide coaching to new co-workers as directed. Facilitate Safety Care Support session with Residential and Day services programs at their respective locations. Update and maintain certifications in Relias/ Paycom for class attendees Attend all required meetings. Adhere to agency safety standards. Perform additional duties, or substitute for others as required. Adhere to all RTR policies and procedures. Develop and provide all services in accordance with RTR’s philosophies including staff and Board beliefs. Qualifications Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and the internet. Must have a minimum of at least one year of work experience in a MR/MH setting. Valid Driver’s License. Successful completion of all state and agency mandated trainings. Must be willing to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information concerning allegations from Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC), Department of Developmental Services (DDS), and other agencies.
