Job Details

In this role, you will...

Provide administrative support to each of the branch offices and Mariner Finance headquarters. Organization and administrative duties comprise the fundamental responsibilities of the position. This position has additional systems duties.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Processes attorney payments and ensure rates, fees, and charges are correct.
• Obtains and prepares monthly logs from branches (repossession, cure, rewrite) for President.
• Processes daily non-sufficient funds (NSF) checks returned by bank.
• Assists with minor general ledger and bank reconciliation.
• Processes charge-off postings to accounts.
• Processes/posts legal and mail payments.
• Performs loan by mail (LBM) check imaging and credit report attachment.
• Prepares check copies for the branch network upon request.
• May perform additional functions depending on market demand and staffing in order to provide consistent quality customer service.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational skills to include prioritizing and attention to detail.
• Strong computer knowledge.
• Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal/service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some college.
• Two (2+) years of experience; college credits may substitute years of experience.

Hours of Work:

Monday through Friday. Work hours will depend on the business hours of the time zone serviced.To the extent permitted by law, the Company may, in its sole discretion, change the work schedule to address business needs. 

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to move about. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
