We build the software that makes it happen. Connect is Lineage's own Warehouse Management System, the system of record for warehouse inventory, orders, and customers. This position is to join the Connect engineering team that builds the integration with LinOS, our platform for automating and improving warehouse operations end to end with data science algorithms.
This is software with a physical consequence. Get a release right and a facility moves more product with fewer mistakes; get it wrong and trucks wait at the dock. Your work lands in a real building, on real pallets. LinOS is replacing manual processes that have gone unchanged for decades.
What you'll doÂ
Build and maintain backend features and APIs for Connect, working from initiatives scoped by the Tech LeadÂ
Write unit tests, useful logging, and clear pull requestsÂ
Learn the warehouse domain: what a receipt, a pick, a load, and a cycle count actually mean on the floor, and why the software models them the way it doesÂ
Participate actively in code review, both giving and receiving feedback on the diffÂ
Take part in L3 production support for the systems your team owns, with support from senior engineersÂ
Use AI coding assistants effectively and verify their output before it reaches reviewÂ
What we'll invest in youÂ
This role comes with real ramp-up support: a Tech Lead who owns your onboarding, multiple Senior Software Engineers on the team whose job includes mentoring you, structured documentation, and internal tech talks. We expect to train and grow you into the platform, you are not expected to arrive knowing warehouse management.Â
Required qualificationsÂ
5+ years of professional software development experienceÂ
Solid object-oriented development backgroundÂ
Working proficiency in at least one of JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or C#Â
Comfortable with SQL — able to write queries and understand an existing relational schemaÂ
Excellent problem-solving skills; able to break down an unfamiliar problem and ask good questionsÂ
Clear written and verbal communication; works well on a distributed teamÂ
Comfortable using AI development tools, including giving them appropriate context and reviewing what they produceÂ
Preferred qualificationsÂ
Node.js / TypeScript (NestJS) and React or React NativeÂ
Microsoft SQL Server, including stored proceduresÂ
Any exposure to warehouse, supply chain, logistics, or industrial/operational softwareÂ
Observability tooling (Datadog or equivalent) and containerized deployment (Docker)Â
