Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and committed Master Data Manager to join our global IT team in Oakdale (Minnesota, USA). This role leads master data management across the enterprise and is responsible for both governance and hands-on operational maintenance. The global Master Data Manager plays an essential role in further simplifying, integrating, and automating end-to-end business processes and data flows to increase internal efficiencies and drive business growth. 

The position reports to the Business Applications Manager – ERP & BI. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Act as the enterprise lead for master data management, defining and enforcing data governance, standards, ownership, and lifecycle management. 
  • Perform hands-on master data maintenance, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of core data domains. 
  • Maintain sales pricing master data, including price lists, discounts, and related commercial configurations. 
  • Use tools such as Vince to design workflows and efficiently extract, update, and validate master data at scale. 
  • Collaborate closely with business functions (e.g., Sales, Service, Pricing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance) to align master data with business needs. 
  • Monitor and improve data quality, resolve master data issues, and prevent recurring data problems. 
  • Support audit and control requirements by ensuring traceability, documentation, and compliant master data processes. 
  • Drive continuous improvement of master data processes, tooling, and documentation. 

Education requirements: 

  • University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • Fluent in English (both written and oral); other languages are a plus. 

Experience requirements: 

  • Proven experience in master data governance on enterprise level.
  • Operational experience with master data maintenance in IT systems, including ERP (preferably Infor M3 CloudSuite) and CRM (preferably Salesforce).
  • Experience with process automation tools (like Microsoft Power Automate) and API integrations.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as a subject matter expert. 
  • Broad understanding of business processes, preferably from a global B2B environment. 
  • Functional knowledge of master data domains (e.g., customers, suppliers, products, prices, assets).
  • Strong process mindset and interest in continuous improvement.
