The role you’ll contribute: 

The Sonographer – Women's Specialty Care performs diagnostic sonographic imaging of fetal and maternal anatomy, urinary and gynecologic anatomy or any other diagnostic studies as deemed necessary by the physician for interpretation and/or intervention. This individual assists the Perinatologist, Urogyncologist and/or other physician specialist in patient care and procedures.

· Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
· Assesses the patient’s physical condition and age specific needs.
· Provides instructions that achieve patient cooperation and desired results.
· Acquires patient’s clinical history and provide accurate documentation for invasive procedures.
· Documents patient weight, blood pressure and other pertinent information depending on patient status.
· Assesses sonographic images for technical quality, proper annotation, and patient identification, ensuring that all relative anatomy is demonstrated.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: 

· High School Degree or Equivalent - Required
· Amer Reg Diag Med Sonography (ARDMS) in (OB/GYN) - Required
· Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
· 3+ Years Experience - Preferred
