Job DetailsJob Location: OC - Ocala, FL 34481Position Type: Part TimeEducation Level: Not SpecifiedJob Category: Customer ServiceThe Ranch Fitness Center & Spa has a state-of-the-art fitness floor, which is always staffed to provide friendly service or the dynamic and motivating environment of group fitness. We are looking for you to help our customers receive the best service they deserve! The Fitness Spa Attendant (Male Locker Room) is responsible for the opening and closing functions of the Ranch Fitness Center & Spa, assisting in the smooth operation of the Spa by delivering guests to their appointed provider, checking the fitness rooms for any problems and/or issues needing attention, and providing for the specific needs of members and guests. Responsibilities: Ensures the Ranch Experience for members and guests by maintain the established standards Becomes knowledgeable about the facility and its amenities in order to effectively communicate with member and/or guests Becomes knowledgeable in the line of products carried, their uses, prices, etc. Greets each guest with a smile and direct eye contact Ensures proper opening and closing procedures for the Ranch are completed Performs all the duties listed in the Desk Top Procedures that pertain to the appropriate shift and/or day Provides outstanding member service including but not limited to; arriving on time, assisting with questions and concerns, providing basic information about the gym equipment, and notifying management of any issues that need to be addressed outside the scope of duties Attends periodic fitness center training sessions Collects, launders, folds, and dispenses Ranch laundry (Male Locker Room) as prescribed in the Desk Top Procedures Assists with answering the phones when requested Provides assistance with emergency situations Assists Group Exercise instructors with getting equipment out for classes and putting it away as needed Keeps the fitness desk stocked with the appropriate documents Alerts management of any inventory needs Alerts management of any situation that requires maintenance follow up Assists fitness staff as needed Ensures applicable CDC guidelines are maintained at all times Attends all scheduled meetings Attends scheduled professional trainings Ensures members and guests are validated through the security system Helps ensure facility is accessed only by members and/or guests in good standing, and is safe and secure at all times Performs all duties in adherence to OTOW and The Ranch & Spa standards Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all members, guests, residents, visitors and co-workers Performs other duties as assigned   Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required   Skills and Knowledge: Must be able to read, write and understand English, have good verbal and written communication skills and write professional business correspondences Bilingual (Spanish) preferred Must be trained in CPR and adult AED first aide   Personal Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills Honesty and integrity Self-starter Team player Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion  QualificationsColen Built Development provides equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
