Position Summary:
We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our imaging team in Ocala, FL. In this role, you will perform screening and diagnostic mammograms while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and care during imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mammographic exams and operate radiologic equipment per safety protocols

  • Accurately position patients and calculate exposure settings

  • Ensure quality control and assist with diagnostic interpretation

  • Maintain exam room cleanliness and equipment functionality

  • Guide and educate patients throughout procedures

  • Assist with training new technologists and maintaining records/statistics

  • Demonstrate proficiency in breast imaging, including interventional procedures

  • Stereotactic biopsy experience is preferred

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from an accredited program

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of radiologic imaging experience

  • 1+ year of Mammography experience preferred

  • Experience with 3D tomosynthesis/chemosynthesis preferred

  • Experience with stereotactic biopsy is preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Florida Radiologic Technologist License (Required)

  • ARRT Certification in Radiography (RT(R)) (Required)

  • ARRT Certification in Mammography (Preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of hire)

  • BLS Certification (Required)

Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficient in mammography procedures and imaging protocols

  • Solid understanding of human anatomy and radiation safety

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment

  • Comfort with patient positioning, image processing, and EMR/PACS systems

  • Reliable team player with a compassionate, patient-first approach

Working Conditions:

  • Clinical/office setting with exposure to radiation and medical equipment

  • Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs and assist with patient positioning

  • May require travel between multiple site locations
