You’ll work in a cross‑functional fabrication cell performing assembly, welding, coiling, hydrotesting, engraving, and packaging—building high‑quality products that our customers rely on.

As you grow from Level I through Level V, you’ll expand your technical capabilities, take on leadership responsibilities, and become a key contributor to continuous improvement across the department.

What You’ll Do

Core Responsibilities (All Levels)

  • Perform mechanical and welding assembly per engineering specifications
  • Operate and adjust fabrication equipment including saws, welders, grinders, and hydrotest stations
  • Use scales, templates, tape measures, and gauges for inspection and layout
  • Maintain accurate ERP records of parts and production progress
  • Package products for shipment
  • Safely operate forklifts, cranes, and lifting devices
  • Follow all PPE and safety policies
  • Participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives

  • Support housekeeping and organization
  • Begin learning tube straighteners and hydrotest machines

Fabrication Technician II

  • Perform welding, assembly, and hydrotesting independently
  • Maintain accurate part and work‑order records
  • Identify defective parts and perform in‑process testing
  • Support packaging and material handling

Fabrication Technician III

  • Perform high‑volume TIG welds
  • Become proficient with robotic welding systems and hydro rigs
  • Assist in training new team members
  • Maintain crane operation certifications
  • Learn complex product builds

Fabrication Technician IV

  • Independently operate all cell equipment and adjust programming
  • Troubleshoot quality issues and validate part accuracy
  • Support inventory management and process flow improvements
  • Mentor lower‑level technicians and help lead daily job sequencing

Fabrication Technician V

  • Demonstrate full proficiency across all matrix categories
  • Program and operate advanced machinery including robotic systems and orbital welding
  • Lead team training and validate skill certifications
  • Represent the cell in planning and improvement initiatives
  • Support leadership in safety audits and process changes
