The Front is more than a climbing gym. It's a gathering place where climbers, yogis, and friends come to move, connect, and hang out. Our crew is what makes this place feel like home for our community.

About the Role

We're hiring full-time Gym Staff at our Ogden gym, paying $18 per hour. You'll run the front desk, welcome members and first-timers, and help keep the climbing floor safe and fun.

No two shifts look the same. If you like variety, a fast pace, and being in the middle of the action, this one's for you.

What You'll Do

• Welcome and check in guests and members, handle waivers, and give tours of the gym
• Sign up new members and keep membership info up to date
• Answer calls and climbing questions, and share what's happening with events, memberships, and gear
• Ring up sales, exchanges, and returns, and lend a hand at events like comps and vendor markets
• Keep an eye on the climbing floor, check tags, coach safe climbing and belaying, and run belay tests and autobelay orientations
• Teach climbing basics and help every guest feel welcome
• Do walk-throughs, flag anything that needs attention, and help keep the gym clean and tidy

What You Bring

You might be a great fit if you:

• Have five years of combined work, school, or trade training, with customer service, sales, or hospitality experience in the mix
• Bring a friendly, upbeat attitude and love taking care of people
• Have a passion for climbing and want to learn the gear we sell
• Stay calm, organized, and on top of the details when things get busy, and handle tricky moments with grace
• Hold, or can get upon hire, First Aid/CPR and Utah Alcohol Certification
• Are comfortable with MS Office and can lift up to 50 lbs
• Can work nights, weekends, and a mix of shifts
• Like building checklists and finding ways to make things run smoother
