POSITION SUMMARY:

Fill shifts in the dining room as assigned by availability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Willingness to learn in a foodservice environment, and cross-train in all areas
Ability to stay focused on a task
For jobs in the front, good customer service skills are desired
For jobs in the back, awareness of common hazards you may encounter in a commercial kitchen
Training will be provided for all jobs

QUALIFICATIONS:

Cannot work for more than 2 departments on campus

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

No prior experience needed – on the job training provided.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Most shifts will require you to be on your feet for the duration. May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

May encounter sharp objects such as broken glass or sharp knives, hot water or hot oil, or slippery surfaces.
