Description
Client, Food, and Forestry’s Consumer Protection Services Division islooking for development support for our new Inspections application. TheInspections application will allow agency field inspectors to collectagricultural inspections data via online forms, save the data to the SQLdatabase, and generate and store PDF documents. The Department’s existinginspections program is scheduled to be decommissioned in Spring of 2027, andthe replacement system is being developed in-house. Essential to this effort isa contracted developer practiced with JavaScript and SQL whose experience levelranges from beginner to intermediate. This position’s primary responsibilitiesconsist of converting the approximately seventy existing fillable PDFinspection documents into new interactive HTML forms that will be used bydepartment inspectors for data collection. The developer will use JavaScript tobuild the functionality for inspector inputs to be saved to the SQL database,and Jinja templates will be used to compile those inputs back into new PDFfiles. Secondary responsibilities include providing JavaScript developmentsupport as needed to help keep the current project on track.

Requirements
