Job DetailsJob Location: Heritage at Brandon Place - Oklahoma City, OK 73142The Cook is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals for residents, following dietary guidelines, menus, and special dietary needs. This role ensures food quality, safety, and presentation while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus, dietary specifications, and resident preferences. Assist with menu planning, recipe preparation, and portion control. Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation in compliance with state and federal regulations. Accommodate residents’ special dietary needs, allergies, and texture modifications as instructed by dietary staff or healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including utensils, equipment, and food storage areas. Collaborate with dietary team members to ensure timely and accurate meal service. Monitor inventory, assist with ordering supplies, and minimize food waste. Follow all safety and infection control protocols in food preparation and service. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in institutional cooking, healthcare, or food service preferred but not required.
