This position is designed to empower families to overcome challenges and improve their quality of life through comprehensive support services. Key Responsibilities: - Establish and maintain trusting relationships with families to understand their unique needs and challenges. - Provide families with information and access to community resources, including housing, healthcare, education, and employment services. - Advocate on behalf of families to ensure they receive necessary services and support from community organizations and government agencies. - Collaborate with other social service professionals to coordinate and deliver comprehensive support to families. - Conduct assessments to identify family strengths and areas for improvement, developing tailored action plans to address specific needs. - Monitor family progress and adjust support strategies as needed to ensure successful outcomes. - Maintain accurate and confidential records of family interactions and services provided. - Participate in community outreach activities to raise awareness about available resources and services. - Stay informed about developments in social services and community resources to provide families with current and effective support. QualificationsRequired Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field. Required Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in social services or a related field working with families and children. - Experience in case management and advocacy for diverse populations. - Familiarity with community resources and services in Oklahoma. Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and community partners. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of handling multiple cases and priorities. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software. - Understanding of confidentiality and ethical considerations in social services. - Ability to conduct assessments and develop individualized service plans for families. - Demonstrated problem-solving skills and conflict resolution abilities.
