(REI) Business Manager, FOH Type of position: Non-exempt/Hourly Employee Classification: Seasonal Compensation: $20.00/hourly   Job Summary: The Parking Supervisor creates the first impression of the event, so efficiency and friendliness are required. The position is responsible for creating and leading an efficient parking experience, warmly greeting customers, confirming parking reservations, and directing patrons as needed. The Parking Supervisor manages responsibilities with a balance of patience and urgency, works well under pressure, has strong multitasking skills, and, most importantly, has a pleasant demeanor.   Being part of the Front of House team is an excellent opportunity to learn about the business side of production and be the first interaction our guests experience. The high-energy logistics of moving folks through parking, the box office, waiting areas and onto their departure on time with all the amenities needed for the production is extremely rewarding, knowing guests are on their way to making lasting memories with loved ones. The Front of House team is also an integral part of providing customer service to our guests and support to cast and crew on the ground.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Act as an example to, and assist in leading, the entire Parking Attendant team · Act as a liaison between the Parking Attendants and the FOH & Business Manager · Create efficient parking experience · Welcome customers and assist the team with any service needs for efficient parking experience · Handle customer parking inquiries and ensure a pleasant customer experience · Confirm parking reservations, ensuring passengers have arrived at the appropriate date and time · Direct customer to the ticketing area if ticket updates and/ or more information is required · Assist in general care, maintenance and safety of parking area including keeping a clean and orderly space · Communicate any safety or maintenance concerns to FOH Manager · Maintain a safe, welcoming, positive, and inclusive working environment and advises other management with related concerns · Communicate the importance of parking safety and implement practices with parking attendant team · Other duties as assigned   Education, Skill & Work Experience Requirements: · Ability to learn the Etix Ticketing platform with efficiency and competency. · Strong leadership and communication skills · Excellent customer service skills · Basic computer skills · Ability to work weekends and evenings · Possess a well-spoken manner in personal communications · Front desk, reservation, customer service experience preferred · Self-motivation and attention to details · Alert and aware of surroundings · Must be 18 or over   Work Environment: · Majority of time is spent in an outdoor setting · Able to work in cold, snowy, or otherwise inclement winter weather · Varied schedule requiring evenings, weekends, and overtime · Able to stand for prolonged periods of time · Able to stand and walk on uneven or unsteady surfaces aboard a moving train · Time spent in and around active railroad yard(s)   Working on THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride is unlike anything you will ever do.
