DEPARTMENT/LOCATION:  To Be Determined on an as-needed basis
STATUS:   Certified 
REQUIREMENT:   Kansas professional counselor license
HOURS OF WORK:   As Needed
STARTING SALARY: $17.50-$20.63 hourly
CLEARANCES REQUIRED: Criminal Justice Fingerprint, Background Clearance, TB Test

POSITION SUMMARY:  The placement could be in one location for one or several days at a time. Can choose either Elementary, Middle, or High school hours. Working with various MS Office applications and etc.Substitute Teacher

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position supports schools in the absence of a school councelor.   The ability to form relationships with a wide variety of children and families is essential. Differentiating needs for a wide range of developmental needs is required. The counselor is responsible for the implementation of the district curriculum in a way that maximizes student learning as well as evaluating/meeting their emotional needs. .
