Field Merchandising Specialist

We are currently seeking a Field Merchandising Specialist to join our innovative and fast-growing Front Row Team. This Role will be based near the Omaha, NE and will require planned travel with Company Vehicle.

As a Field Merchandising Specialist, you play a critical role on our Field Operations team.  In this Role, you are responsible for working with our major Retail partners facilitating employee and customer trainings, executing new store planogram sets and current store resets, weekly merchandising updates and providing best in class customer service.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Partner with assigned Retail locations updating planograms, completing instore projects and servicing Vendor lines we represent. 

•    Communicate and collaborate with managers and employees in assigned retail locations, building strong relationships, troubleshooting issues and keeping the team informed on project progress.

•    Prepare and facilitate store employee product knowledge training seminars, store sales promotions, department meetings, in-store demos and contractor events. 

•    Partner with the Field Operations Team to coordinate, plan and execute major store resets and grand openings. 

•    Engage customers by answering questions, serving as a subject matter expert on our brands and products, and delivering top-tier customer service.

•    Complete projects updates with a high level of accuracy and detail and report on store visits using Salesforce.

•    Collaborate with fellow Field Merchandising Specialists, sharing knowledge and best practices to help the team grow.

•    All other duties, tasks and projects assigned by leadership.  


QUALIFICATIONS

•    Education & Experience: HS Diploma/GED required; 3+ years of supervisory experience preferred.

•    This role requires 90% travel within the assigned territory, including daily store visits and overnight stays as needed.  A Company Vehicle is provided for travel.

•    Proven expertise in leadership, merchandising, and retail operations.

•    Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on best-in-class customer service and building retail and vendor partnerships.

•    Highly organized with strong attention to detail, time management, and analytical skills.

•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).

•    Ability to work independently, managing tasks and priorities efficiently.

•    Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS 

•    Visual Demands – Reading documents and reports, computer screens, signs and planograms.

•    Lifting & Carrying – Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull merchandise and equipment up to 50 lbs; occasional heavier lifting with assistance.

•    Bending, Kneeling & Stooping – Regularly bend, kneel, crouch, or stoop to access products and merchandise shelves.

•    Reaching, Handling & Climbing – Frequent reaching above shoulder level, grasping, and handling tools or merchandise. May need to climb ladders/step stools.

•    Manual Dexterity – Ability to operate basic tools, hand and change signs and stickers, move shelves and peg hooks, and use other retail equipment.  Frequent use of a computer keyboard and mouse.

•    Warehouse/Stockroom Exposure – Working in retail storage areas with potential exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.  May be exposed to hot or cold temperatures when working near doors, outdoor areas, or handling seasonal merchandise.

•    Safety Hazards – Potential exposure to sharp tools, heavy machinery, chemicals, and other retail materials (with proper safety precautions).

•    Instore Environment – Well lit with moderate noise and comfortable temperature.
