About this Opportunity:
As a Renewal Specialist, you will be a key driver of customer retention and revenue growth. You will own and manage a portfolio of renewals, working closely with Sales and Customer Success to ensure successful outcomes and identify opportunities to expand relationships. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.

It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work as a Hybrid employee, with three (3) or more days each week required on-site at one of the listed office locations.

 

Candidates should be located within a commutable distance to an office. Internal candidates currently aligned to an Orion office location may be given preference; however, internal candidates with varying work arrangements may be considered based on experience and business needs. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Proactively engage with clients, understand their evolving needs, and guide them through a smooth and efficient renewal experience
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at client firms, acting as a trusted consultant and advocate
  • Secure renewals while identifying opportunities to increase customer lifetime value through upsells, cross-sells, and expansions
  • Partner effectively with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and other internal teams to develop and execute winning renewal strategies
  • Deeply understand client requirements, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively address challenges to ensure timely renewals
  • Maintain accurate renewal forecasts and provide management with clear visibility into renewal performance and potential risks
  • Skillfully negotiate renewal terms that balance customer satisfaction with Orion's business objectives
  • Adhere to established renewal processes and leverage CRM systems to manage customer interactions and track progress
  • Proactively adopt new initiatives and programs and share your expertise as a mentor to other team members
  • Advocate for the importance of renewals within Orion and contribute to a culture of customer success

We’re looking for talent who:

  • Has 3+ years of proven success in Renewals
  • Has a strong track record in managing and securing renewals, ideally within the SaaS industry or financial services sector
  • Has ability to build rapport, handle objections, and negotiate effectively with clients at all levels, including C-suite executives
  • Has proven ability to navigate and negotiate multi-year agreements with favorable terms
  • Has strong understanding of key financial metrics and ability to analyze customer data to identify opportunities
  • Has experience using CRM platforms, specifically Salesforce, to manage customer relationships and track renewal progress
  • Has a genuine passion for customer success and a commitment to building long-term relationships
  • Has the ability to anticipate challenges, develop solutions, and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Collaborates and thrives in a team environment and enjoys sharing knowledge and expertise
  • Has a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and works effectively with people at all levels in an organization
