The Senior Analyst serves as a key technical expert within the bank's credit risk management function, providing advanced analytical support and insights to drive informed credit decisions This experienced professional leads work across four core domains: executive reporting, portfolio analytics, AI and innovation, and credit loss forecasting. The position requires strong analytical capabilities combined with business acumen to translate complex credit data into actionable recommendations. The Senior Analyst works with minimal supervision while providing guidance to junior team members, serving as a bridge between technical analysis and practical business application in credit risk management.

Major responsibilities:

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Communicate card portfolio insights to risk committees, senior leadership, marketing, finance teams, and strategy forums, translating complex data into clear, decision-ready narratives.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Create early warning indicator reports for detecting deteriorating credit quality across portfolios and customer segments.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Analyze customer acquisition channels and partners to optimize risk-adjusted returns across card products, segments, and acquisition channels.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Conduct comprehensive analysis of credit card portfolio performance metrics including delinquency, charge-off, and utilization patterns.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Work with minimal supervision to independently explore large datasets, surface insights, and present findings to cross-functional stakeholders.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Evaluate and pilot emerging tools, platforms, and technologies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of credit risk analytics.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Drive process automation initiatives to streamline reporting, data preparation, and model execution workflows.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Identify opportunities to integrate AI-driven insights into existing risk management frameworks and decision-making processes.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Stay current with advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science as applied to financial services and credit risk.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develop, maintain, and enhance credit loss forecasting models with a primary focus on credit card loss curves, including vintage analysis and roll-rate methodologies.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide analytical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Knowledge & Skills

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Knowledge of consumer and/or small business credit card products and risk dynamics

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Proficiency in statistical techniques, modeling, and quantitative analysis

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Knowledge of loss forecasting methods including vintage analysis, roll-rate, and time series approaches

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Familiarity with AI and machine learning frameworks and their application to credit risk

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to work independently with data to identify complex business trends and propose solutions

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong executive communication and data storytelling skills

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Technical proficiency in SQL, Python, SAS, and Excel, BI tools for visualizations

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

聽

Education and Experience

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in quantitative fields such as Math, Physics, Statistics, engineering, Computer Science required. Advanced degree preferred

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 3+ years of experience in Credit management or Credit Risk Forecasting or other highly analytical business field.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Proven ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to present recommendations and influence senior management.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Excellent oral and written communication skills.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and work independently.

Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

聽

Compensation range (base pay): $81,662.00-$134,741.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Work Environment:

It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you'll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays. We provide the tools and technology to ensure seamless transitions between work environments, supporting your productivity wherever you are. Please note that work location is subject to change based on business needs.
