Job Summary

As a Commercial Financial Analyst Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn the primary responsibilities of a Commercial Financial Analyst, learning how to input and analyze customer financial as well as monitoring information to ensure accuracy and completeness. You’ll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with customers, teammates and support the local communities that you serve.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Understand how to analyze financial information out of appropriate systems to initiate the underwriting and decisioning
  • Assist in monitoring direct, bought and sold loans within the Corporate and Commerical teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Master the art of following through – reaching out to customers and lead-lenders upon identification of non-receipt of financial information. 
  • Discover how to comprehend potential financial trends and how to communicate your findings accordingly. 

Education Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelors or master’s degree in Accounting, Agricultural Economics, Business, or Finance.
  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.  
  • Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.  
  • Strong desire to pursue a career involving adult education, program management, sales, marketing and territory management.  
  • Available for a 12-week internship during the summer.
