- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment to move pallets and products to assigned storage locations
- Accurately scan and verify product using RF scanners or warehouse management system (WMS)
- Place inventory in correct bin/slot locations according to warehouse layout and storage guidelines
- Inspect pallets and products for damage prior to and during put away; report discrepancies or damage immediately
- Maintain accurate inventory records by confirming location transfers in the WMS
- Follow proper stacking, weight limits, and safety protocols to prevent product damage or workplace injuries
- Conduct pre- and post-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company safety standards
- Collaborate with receiving, inventory control, and picking teams to ensure smooth warehouse operations
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Prior warehouse experience required; put away or forklift experience strongly preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification through company training)
- Basic math and reading skills for order accuracy and inventory tracking
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and operate machinery for extended periods
- Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures (including refrigerated/freezer environments, if applicable)
