Position Summary:
 The Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service to restaurant guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant and satisfying dining experience. Servers act as the main point of contact between guests and the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival.
• Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about menu items.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
• Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner.
• Check guests IDs to verify legal drinking age and follow all alcohol service laws.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or requests.
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and potential allergens.
• Clear tables and assist with resetting as needed.
• Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with bussers, food runners, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Prior serving experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic math and POS (point-of-sale) system skills.
