Your position details include:  

• Full-Time   

• Monday-Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM some weekends if needed.

Your goals and objectives include: 

• Verify primary and secondary insurance coverage and ensure accurate patient demographic and insurance information
• Review and explain insurance benefits, coverage details, and estimated patient financial responsibility
• Meet with patients to discuss coverage, payment expectations, and available financial options
• Collect patient payments and assist patients with establishing payment arrangements when appropriate
• Communicate with insurance carriers, patients, and internal departments to resolve coverage and billing questions
• Maintain accurate account documentation and update patient records as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service while helping patients understand their financial obligations
• Monitor assigned accounts and assist in account resolution until balances are paid in full
• Support patient access and revenue cycle processes through timely and accurate insurance verification

Your Qualifications and Requirements will include: 

• Experience working as a Financial Counselor or in finance for 1-2 years preferred. 

• High school diploma or GED required 

• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen 

• Must be 21 years of age or older
