Summary

We are seeking a passionate, creative, and client-centered Music Therapist who thrives in a flexible, community-based setting. The ideal candidate uses music as a dynamic tool to engage, support, and empower clients across a wide range of abilities. We're looking for someone who brings both clinical insight and creativity to their work—someone who can operate independently while contributing to a collaborative and supportive team.

Responsibilities

Plan and facilitate appropriate MT sessions
Complete session notes within company expectations
Submit invoicing by company deadlines
Strong communication skills with team and supervisors

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music Therapy from an AMTA-approved program
Board Certification (MT-BC) required
Strong musicianship and the ability to use a variety of instruments and vocal techniques in sessions
Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate clients through evidence-based and individualized interventions
Experience working with neurodiverse populations, individuals with disabilities, or behavioral health needs preferred
Reliable transportation and ability to travel for community-based sessions

Rate: $45/hr, mileage reimbursement, flexible schedule
