We are currently hiring Mold Fabricators in Orlando, FL for on-going projects. Pay is $25- $28 per hour based on experience and skillset. As a Mold Fabricator you are responsible for building high quality molds for large-scale commercial projects. OSHA 10 required - training can be provided for qualified candidates



Mold Fabricator Responsibilities

  • Build, modify, and repair molds for fiberglass, foam, composites, and other specialty materials
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and design specifications
  • Construct molds using wood, fiberglass, resin, plaster, silicone, and various other mold-making materials
  • Prepare molds for production ensuring accuracy and quality
  • Perform finishing, trimming, sanding, and surface preparation as needed
  • Collaborate with scenic artists, carpenters, sculptors, and production teams to meet project deadlines
  • Inspect completed molds and troubleshoot issues
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

 

Mold Fabricator Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a mold fabricator or similar fabrication role
  • Experience working with fiberglass, resins, silicone, composites, or related materials
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Experience in scenic fabrication is a plus
  • OSHA 10 required - training can be provided for qualified candidates
