The role you’ll contribute:
Responsible for performing radiographic and CT imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Positions, moves, and assists patients to ensure accurate imaging results. This role performs clerical duties and provides basic patient care within the scope of practice and departmental standards. In addition, this position adheres to compliance plans and regulations of local, state, and federal agencies.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
Educates patients about the exam and complete all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time.
Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.
Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Patient care and communication skills to deal with patients from infant, childhood, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups. [Required]
Must be able to use computer system for data entry and retrieval. Basic working knowledge of PC is necessary. [Required]
High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Some relevant experience [Required]
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
Registered Technologist – Radiography (RT(R) (ARRT)) [Required]
