Schedule: Per Diem 

Shift: Night Shift 7PM-7AM 12 Hour Shifts, Weekend Shift Rotation Required

Location: Must be flexible to float as needed to the following AdventHealth locations: Winter Park, Celebration, Altamonte and Orlando (Winter Garden location to be opened soon) 

Position Highlights:

• RNs in the Womens Float Pool will float to various OB units as needed at any of these locations: Winter Park, Celebration, Altamonte and Orlando
• Labor and Delivery, L&D experience required
• Potential Units may include: Mother Infant Unit (MIU/Mother Baby), Perinatal High Risk Unit (PHRU) and Labor and Deliver (L&D)

Unit Highlights and the community you’ll be caring for:

·         The Regional Inpatient Float Pool offers employees the opportunity to experience different Critical Care Units of Multiple specialties while serving various communities in the Greater Orlando area.

The role you’ll contribute:

The Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age specific groups. Utilizes the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department.  Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications:

• Graduate of a school of nursing
• Current valid State of Florida or multi state license as a Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced life support certification (ACLS, PALS, NRP) per specialty/unit requirements
• Recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required

Preferred qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Professional certification
