Randall Mechanical is currently seeking top-tier Welder / Pipefitters towork on a long-term, large projects across Central Florida and the Space Coast. We are excited about thisimportant role and are determined to consider the best and brightest candidateswho meet our requirements.
Position Summary
TheWelders/Pipe Fitters will be responsible for welding and fitting CARBON STEELAND STAINLESS-STEEL pipes to specifications, examining work product fordefects, and ensuring conformance with specifications.
Essential Functions
Fit and Weld carbon steel and stainless-steel pipesfor plumbing/mechanical applications.
Desired QualificationRequirements
- MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN.
- 5+ years of experience in welding carbon steel and stainless-steel pipe
- Welding certifications preferred
- Knowledge of plumbing, pipefitting, and welding techniques
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity with attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in pipe welding
- Must be able to pass a thorough background check.
- Working knowledge of SMAW, FCAW, Stick (6010/7018) welding
- Working knowledge of gas cutting techniques for piping (Automatic & Manually)
- Excellent knowledge of Fitting configurations adhering to ASME B31.1 Piping
- Preferred knowledge of examination, testing, inspection, operation, and maintenance of piping systems found in industrial, institutional, and general heating and cooling systems.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Effective English or Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) verbal and written communication skills are a must have
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to achieve quality objectives and project success.
- Safety: Commitment to adhering to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.
Physical Requirements:
Thisis primarily a Shop or Field Jobsite job. You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, andlift as required by the job, be able to respond quickly to sounds, seeand respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protectivegear.
