Launch Entertainment Park is seeking an experienced Bowling Mechanic to maintain, repair, and optimize our string bowling equipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, and has hands-on experience servicing string pinsetter systems. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our guests enjoy a safe, reliable, and high-quality bowling experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on all string bowling pinsetter equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with bowling machines.
• Troubleshoot pinsetter malfunctions and restore equipment to operational status quickly.
• Inspect lanes, approaches, ball returns, scoring systems, and related equipment.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments according to manufacturer specifications.
• Replace worn or damaged components as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair records.
• Coordinate with management regarding equipment performance and parts inventory.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards.
• Assist with general facility maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience servicing string bowling pinsetter systems is required.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and hand/power tools.
• Ability to read service manuals and technical diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined mechanical areas.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Brunswick, QubicaAMF, Funk, US Bowling  or other commercial string bowling systems.
• Basic knowledge of computerized scoring systems.
• General maintenance experience including electrical, mechanics, or robotics.
