Position Overview

On-Call Coordinator III / Operations Support (Weekend, Part-Time)

The On-Call Coordinator III is an advanced-level operations and dispatch position responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the Amphibious Medics On-Call Response Program. This role serves as a primary point of contact for clients, employees, providers, and field personnel, ensuring timely injury response, effective resource deployment, and seamless operational support.

The Coordinator III independently manages scheduled and on-demand eVisit requests, dispatches field technicians, coordinates medical services, and oversees incident workflows from initial notification through resolution. In addition to on-call response duties, this position provides operational support within the Orlando office, assisting inventory department as business needs require.

eVisits are face-to-face, real-time video medical visits used to support clients in the assessment, documentation, coordination of care, and claims management following workplace injuries and illnesses.

Weekend Shift Coverage (Sat-Sun)

  • 0800-1830 EST 10.5hrs per day

Essential Job Duties

  • Coordinate and manage active workplace injury incidents from initiation through completion.
  • Conduct and schedule eVisit appointments via video and telephone platforms.
  • Dispatch and coordinate field technicians, medical providers, and other response resources as required.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, injured employees, medical providers, and internal teams throughout the response process.
  • Collect, document, and maintain accurate incident records and case documentation.
  • Monitor multiple communication channels simultaneously while prioritizing urgent requests.
  • Guide callers through triage, injury reporting requirements, and next-step recommendations.
  • Ensure service level expectations and response time objectives are met.
  • Assist with inventory management, order fulfillment, stocking, and supply organization within the Orlando operations facility.
  • Support cross-functional departments with administrative and operational initiatives as required.
  • Identify workflow improvements and assist in training or mentoring less experienced coordinators.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and customer service during all interactions.

Position Pay & Advancement

Coordinator III – Dispatcher

  • Pay Range: $23/hour
  • 6‑Month Review: $1–$2 increase

Qualifications

  • Experience in dispatching, emergency response coordination, healthcare operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Comfortable utilizing multiple software platforms, communication systems, and documentation tools simultaneously.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and web-based business systems.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience coordinating mobile workforce operations or field service dispatching.
  • Experience in occupational health, workers' compensation, healthcare administration, EMS, public safety dispatching, or emergency response operations.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and order fulfillment processes.
  • Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to support team development and operational excellence.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

·          2-4 years of experience in 911 emergency medical response

·          Proficient in Microsoft Office

·          Bilingual in Spanish

Education / Certification

·          NREMT or State EMT-B (or above)

·          High School Diploma (or equivalent) required

Preferred Qualifications

·          Some furthered education (i.e. college, vocational school, etc.)

·          Phone experience, either in an office, dispatch, or recruiting environment

·          1 year experience in an administrative / office environment.
