What you get to do:
路 Assist with the fabrication, installation/strike and maintenance/repair of props, set pieces and d茅cor.
路 Assist with d茅cor elements such as garland, Christmas trees and wreaths to include testing the lights and attaching d茅cor elements such as ornaments, ribbon, sprays, etc.
路 Assist with material inventory process.
路 Maintain cleanliness of work areas and vehicles.
路 Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our Guests.
路 Perform other duties as assigned.
What it takes to succeed:
路 High school diploma or equivalent.
路 Ability to follow a pattern and replicate a d茅cor template.
路 Ability to work well in a team.
路 Ability to stand for prolong periods and work with hands for extended periods of time.
路 Must be comfortable working at heights, ladder work to decorate different scenery pieces such as tall Christmas trees.
路 Possess a valid state driver鈥檚 license required.
What else is important:
路 Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
路 Ability to climb a ladder and work at heights between 6 and 65 feet.
路 Comfortability working in theater and outdoor environments (dark/nighttime conditions, in/around water, in varying weather conditions).
路 Comfortable working around animals.
路 Comfortability with exposure to noise and vibrations.
路 Ability to train on and properly use protective gear.
路 Ability to stand, bend or kneel for long periods of time.
路 Ability to bend, reach, twist and turn with complete flexibility.
路 Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if needed.
路 Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing).
路 Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors, and cold/heat temperature extremes. Perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals.
路 Work a flexible schedule/hour based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays.
路 Must be flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunities.
