Staff should be willing to work inside his apartment as well as in the community. Individual will need assistance with shopping, keeping track of receipts, and keeping the broker and FI in updated on any memberships or classes he may want to sign up for. Working on cooking, cleaning properly using the proper tools/sprays, dishes, organizing, appointment scheduling and reminders for appointments, and keeping electronics in order as individual sometimes struggles with technology. Staff should be ok with smoke in the home. Staff should be willing to find new interesting activities for them,  and participate alongside them. Prior experience a plus. This can be either full or part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services.at the agency. Hours and days of work: Flexible hours available Monday-Friday hours approximately between 9am-6pmWeekends can also be available for events or interests Starting pay: $25.00/hrLocation: Oswego, NY    Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to work independently in the person’s home and/or community. Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills No experience required but experience working with people with disabilities preferred. New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required; acceptable driving record required. Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.   Qualifications: Must have a valid driver's license  Must be at least 18 years old Effective communication and organizational skills required. Flexibility with assignments and schedule required. Reliable transportation to arrive to job site at scheduled time. Experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities preferred.
