Job Overview: Domus Building Cleaning Company Ltd.聽is looking for Cleaners聽who can get a top-secret clearance for an immediate position located within聽the Ottawa area.聽聽Domus has been in operation for over 50 years with more than 500 employees in multiple provinces and has an excellent reputation as a janitorial services provider. Duties and Responsibilities: 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be knowledgeable in floor scrubbing and burnishing of floors 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Clean assigned areas by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and waxing floor surfaces in assigned areas by use of mechanized cleaning equipment wherever required 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Operate carpet machines of various types 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Spot clean walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches, doors, and window sills 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Wipe and sanitize all public utilities such as public phones, furniture, and door handles 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Food Court experience a plus 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Cleaning of washrooms, sanitizing, mopping, restocking of supplies as needed 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Follow pre-set policies, guidelines, and rules to maintain a safe working environment 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Other duties and responsibilities as required Required Skills/Abilities: 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Previous cleaning/janitorial experience an asset 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be able to lift 40lbs plus on a regular basis 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must be able to communicate in English 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Reliable 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Legally allowed to work in Canada 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must live in the Ottawa/Gatineau region 聽 | ||
