A day in the life.
The role focuses on developing and strengthening client relationships by delivering timely, high-quality service and expanding accounts with minimal guidance. Additionally, the role includes providing consulting services on Business Insurance programs, advising clients on market trends and data analytics. This individual is also responsible for promoting agency best practices in communication and identifying opportunities to enhance existing accounts and generate referral business for agency growth.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develop effective business relationships through in-person visits, entertainment, and virtual contact at various levels within client organizations.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manage service levels for assigned accounts to meet revenue, profitability, retention goals, and client expectations.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Utilize internal relationship-based sales methodology and lead efforts to promote agency expertise through educational events.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist clients with strategic planning, goal setting, renewal planning, and establishing timelines.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Identify additional business opportunities and cross-sell services.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Coordinate team efforts to ensure delivery of client service agreements and provide guidance to team members.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Review compliance and client disclosure requirements, ensuring alignment with internal policies and legal standards.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Mentor and develop team members, providing ongoing training and support.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Be a motivator and demonstrate a positive influence on team members and the department.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide ongoing training, coaching and personal development to team members.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Be available as a resource to team members. Field questions and respond to issues on a timely basis (voice mail, e-mail and personal).
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide leadership and coordinate team meetings
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support and implement change management
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Create learning opportunities for team and provide ongoing constructive feedback.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Prepare and manage client presentations for new and existing accounts.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Coordinate risk placements with clients, carriers, and vendors.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Stay informed on industry trends and legislative changes to effectively advise clients and manage risk.

We鈥檇 love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent, required; college degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience working in customer service, underwriting, commercial lines insurance for a carrier or broker preferred
- Familiarity with insurance company markets, binding authority, and underwriting guidelines preferred
- Must be detailed with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and a high sense of urgency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to establish relationships at all levels
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment and communicate effectively
- Flexibility and creativity in developing innovative and customized insurance solutions
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to negotiate quotations, evaluate client needs, and develop innovative business solutions
- Experience negotiating quotations with underwriters and evaluating client needs
- Knowledge of technical underwriting and extensive knowledge of commercial industry laws, products, coverages, and markets
- Property/Casualty license or ability to attain is required

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
- Advanced designations such as CIC, CRM and AAI preferred
- Previous experience managing relationships and face-to-face client experience preferred
