Job DetailsJob Location: OVERLAND PARK, KS 66206Position Type: Full-Time/Part-TimeJob Title: Server Location: Martin City Brewing Company – Mission Farms Area: 4000 Indian Creek Parkway, Overland Park KS Reports To: General Manager / FOH Manager Schedule: Part‑time or Full‑time; days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed QualificationsKey Responsibilities Guest Experience & Service Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming, upbeat first impression Guide guests through menus, beer styles, and specialty cocktails with confidence Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system Deliver food and drinks efficiently while ensuring proper presentation Check back appropriately to ensure guest satisfaction and address concerns Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive, genuine hospitality Beer & Beverage Knowledge Maintain strong knowledge of: Martin City Brewing Company beers Seasonal and limited releases Wine and cocktail offerings Confidently make recommendations based on guest preferences Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines at all times Operational Excellence Follow all service steps, standards, and policies Maintain clean, organized tables and service stations Assist with opening, running, and closing side work Communicate clearly with kitchen, bar, and management teams Support teammates during high‑volume service periods Handle guest payments accurately and responsibly Qualifications Previous serving experience preferred, but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment Team‑oriented mindset with a positive attitude Basic math and cash-handling skills Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25–30 lbs Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays What Success Looks Like Guests feel welcomed, informed, and well cared for Orders are accurate and delivered in a timely manner Beer and food knowledge improves consistently Team members support one another during busy shifts Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage + tips Flexible scheduling Employee discounts on food and beer Opportunities for advancement within Martin City Brewing Company Fun, energetic, and team‑focused work environment
