Position Summary

Jost Chemical is seeking a talented VDC Technician to join our Engineering team in a cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for preparing and maintaining detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and design documentation that support facility operations, capital projects, and infrastructure improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Create detailed technical drawings and 3D models for structural, process utility, piping, electrical, and facility-related systems.
Develop construction drawings from engineering specifications, sketches, and field data.
Review and interpret project specifications and standards.
Perform field investigations and gather measurements for as-built documentation.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and technical staff.
Maintain CAD drawing files and document control systems.
Implement drawing revisions and support facility upgrades.
Support National CAD Standards and company drafting standards.

Qualifications

Associate degree in CAD Technology or related field.
Three or more years of industry-related drafting/design experience.
Experience creating andmaintaining3D models.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform field investigations within a chemical manufacturing facility, work at a computer workstation for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
