PathGroup is seeking an AP/CP Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pathologist to join our hospital-based practice in Owensboro, Kentucky. Candidates based in the Louisville, KY; Nashville, TN; Evansville, IN; Indianapolis, IN, and Cincinnati, OH areas are encouraged to apply, as this role offers a hybrid schedule consisting of approximately two weeks per month of on-site coverage in Owensboro and two weeks per month of remote sign-out.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sign-out of general surgical pathology and cytopathology cases
  • Perform frozen sections and intraoperative consultations
  • Oversee select areas of clinical pathology (e.g., blood bank, hematology, chemistry)
  • Participate in tumor boards, quality initiatives, and clinical discussions
Qualifications
  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • AP/CP Board Certification or Board Eligibility
  • Eligible for Kentucky medical license
  • Excellent diagnostic and interpersonal skills
  • Strong commitment to a collaborative, team-based practice
