Stivers Kia of Owings Mills is looking for experienced, motivated, and dependable Automotive Service Technicians to join our growing, high-volume service department!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.

• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, fluid exchanges, and scheduled maintenance.

• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, heating, cooling, and electrical systems.

• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs and maintenance.

• Utilize Kia diagnostic equipment, scan tools, manufacturer service information, and other technical resources.

• Perform warranty repairs, recall services, and manufacturer-recommended maintenance as assigned.

• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while following manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.

• Conduct quality checks and authorized road tests to verify repairs and vehicle performance.

• Accurately document diagnostic findings, services performed, repairs completed, and parts used.

• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and Service Management regarding vehicle concerns, repair recommendations, and additional service needs.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Follow dealership policies, manufacturer procedures, and workplace safety standards.

• Deliver quality workmanship and strive to complete repairs correctly the first time.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous professional automotive repair and maintenance experience.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

• Knowledge of automotive systems, repair procedures, and maintenance practices.

• Ability to use automotive diagnostic tools, scan tools, and repair equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical service information.

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for positions requiring vehicle operation.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Excellent time-management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Professional attitude, dependability, and strong work ethic.

• Commitment to workplace safety and customer satisfaction.

KIA EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS!

Experience working with Kia vehicles, Kia diagnostic equipment, and factory service procedures is strongly preferred but not required.
