The Staff Pad has partnered with areputed healthcare organization in Blue Ridge, GA to find an experienced Echo UltrasoundTechnologist. This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled sonographerwho is passionate about patient care and diagnostic excellence.

The Ultrasound Technologist isresponsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging exams, including butnot limited to cardiac, vascular, abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, andsmall parts imaging. Special procedures such as biopsies may also be required.

What You’ll Do

KeyResponsibilities

  • Perform echocardiograms and ultrasound exams and ensurehigh-quality imaging for diagnostic interpretation
  • Maintain a clean, sterile environmentand properly manage ultrasound equipment, ensuring functionality and adherenceto safety protocols
  • Transport patients to and from theexam room safely, while using proper body mechanics
  • Verify patient identity and explainprocedures to patients and their families, ensuring comfort and understanding
  • Complete all necessary paperwork andensure that studies are accurately documented
  • Assist in the training and orientationof new staff members as required

WhatWe Are Looking For

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited school ofultrasonography or demonstrated expertise sufficient to meet departmentstandards
  • ARDMS or CCI certification in at leastone specialty, or registry-eligible (must achieve certification within one yearof hire)
  • CPR certification (must be completedwithin 60 days of hire if not already current)
  • 1+ year of hospital-based experiencepreferred

Additional Skills and Attributes

  • Ability to work independently, managetime effectively, and function under stress
  • Ability to lift, move, and positionpatients as needed
  • Ability to stand for extended periodsand occasionally walking or bending
