Seeking a Compassionate Respiratory Registered Nurse in Paducah, KY
(Murray area)


Impact to Health is seeking a compassionate and patient‑centered Respiratory Registered Nurse or Respiratory Therapist to join our clients Call Center team.

In thisrole, you provide telephonic clinical support that directly impacts patienthealth, comfort, and confidence. You will guide patients, caregivers, and fieldstaff through respiratory equipment use, CPAP compliance, and troubleshootingwith empathy and clarity—offering reassurance during moments when patients mayfeel uncertain or overwhelmed. Your ability to listen, educate, and supportremotely plays a vital role in improving respiratory outcomes and ensuringpatients feel cared for, even from a distance.


Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities


·       Provide compassionate, patient‑centeredtelephonic support within a 24/7 call center rotation, offering calm andreassuring guidance during after‑hours needs.

·       Conduct empathetic phone consultations for AHCClocations, helping patients and caregivers navigate respiratory concerns withclarity and confidence.

·       Counsel and re‑educate non‑compliantCPAP patients with encouragement and understanding, reinforcing the healthbenefits of therapy and addressing barriers with sensitivity.

·       Gather information from patients, caregivers,and field personnel regarding equipment concerns, troubleshooting issues withpatience and a supportive approach.

·       Enroll patients into CPAP compliance programs,explaining the purpose and benefits in a way that empowers and reassures.

·       Maintain a working knowledge of basic insuranceguidelines to help support patient needs and care continuity.

·       Maintain all required licensure, certifications,and continuing education to ensure high‑quality, evidence‑basedrespiratory support.

·       Determine when a physical visit is necessaryafter all remote measures have been exhausted, coordinating care with empathyand urgency to protect patient wellbeing.

·       Monitor patient progress according to insuranceguidelines and established timelines, advocating for patient health throughoutthe compliance process.

·       Protect patient and company information withdiligence, ensuring confidentiality and trust in every interaction.

·       Provide clinical support to field personnel,offering guidance and troubleshooting assistance that strengthens patient careacross the organization.

·       Deliver patient education withcompassion—covering equipment use, maintenance, safety, therapy expectations,and the importance of compliance.

·       Review manufacturer systems for compliancetracking to support accurate, patient‑centered follow‑up.

·       Perform additional duties as assigned to ensurepatients receive reliable, empathetic, and clinically sound respiratorysupport.


WorkSchedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm CST

On‑Call: At this time, the on‑call rotation runs every 4–6 weeks, covering from Friday at 5:00 p.m. CST through Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. CST, depending on staffing and business needs.

Requirements

Required Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
  • Credentials as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Licensed in primary state of home office as required by state law and provide a copy of license to the location

Preferred Education and/or Experience

  • Completion of an accredited program/degree in respiratory care/therapy or related science is preferred; nursing or other paramedical training may be acceptable depending upon state licensure laws
  • Maintain CEUs as required by state law, and if not required by state law, then maintain a minimum of 4 CEUs per year
  • May be required to obtain license in neighboring states as required by service area of location
  • Experience with home respiratory care, preferred
  • One year of related work experience, preferred
Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a background check, drug screening, compliance onboarding, and credentialing requirements, as well as maintaining a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record when applicable to the position.
