Position Summary

The Process Engineering Co-op will be a key member of our Engineering team out of our St. Louis, MO location. This person will be actively working in a plant environment to assist engineers with day-to-day project activities, ranging from data collection and analysis to troubleshooting. 

 

Key Program Info: 

  • Dates: Fall 2026 (August-December)
  • Location: St. Louis, MO
  • Work Environment: Onsite
  • Hours: Full-time 1st shift hours for the duration of your co-op

What You'll Do as a Process Engineering Co-op

  • Performing data collection and analysis using Excel, Minitab, and/or Python. 
  • Troubleshooting production lines.
  • Undertaking value-added tasks as requested by staff members.
  • Helping to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Assisting with administrative duties.

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed

Required:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, or industrial engineering
  • Sophomore year requirements must be completed by program start (August 2026)

 

Preferred:

  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, as well as Minitab and/or Python
  • Basic CAD experience

 

Other:

  • High focus on safety and quality
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Root cause analysis and statistical analysis skills
  • Strong collaboration and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail

Pay range for this opportunity is $20-23/hr.

 

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.  Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
