Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern for the summer to support both new product development and factory support for existing products. This internship offers hands-on experience working alongside engineers and mechanical designers to contribute to product design, documentation, and engineering change processes in a collaborative environment. 

 

Essential Functions:

  • Provide mechanical engineering support for both new product development activities as well as factory support of existing products
  • Work directly with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation
  • Generate and/or process engineering change orders (ECO’s) as required

 

Qualifications: 

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, or a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering or related field at an accredited university.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • CAD or analysis (FEA) tools exposure, and/or experience in mechanical design or analysis of electronic systems, structures and mechanisms
  • Gear train, motion control, or experience with AI.
