Job DetailsJob Location: Palmetto, FL 34221Assembly Line Manager ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Meet with Supervisors daily to discuss daily expectations. Monitor the daily schedule. Notify the Assembly Manager when the schedule is not being met.   Create ways to get the job done more efficiently. Check each department’s work and QC all work. Monitor shift start and end times, breaks, and lunches to ensure employees follow protocol. Ensure the work environment is safe, and PPE is worn when required. Check each station three times per day to verify progress and make adjustments to meet the schedule. Communicate with the parts department to schedule and check-in kit deliveries. Notify the Assembly Manager or Stockroom of parts shortages. Work with Engineering and the Assembly Manager on BOM changes that are needed. Ensure departments keep the boats and shop areas clean. Ensure documents and books are completed daily and correctly. Assist each department (hands-on) when needed to get back on track. Keep all parts secured when not being used. Eliminate damage to parts and boats during production. Make sure the shop and parking areas are secure at the end of the day and that all areas/gates are locked. Crosstrain employees. Complete disciplinary forms when necessary. Responsible for hiring/firing and making recommendations to the Assembly Manager. Accountable for meeting efficiency requirements. Step into the Assembly Manager role in their absence. QualificationsMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: •    Knowledge of boating and boat manufacturing •    Communicate professionally (written and verbal) •    Able to use Microsoft Office Products  •    Valid driver’s license for Assembly errands/parts •    Forklift certified
