PURPOSE OF POSITION: To perform routine and preventative maintenance, trouble-shoot and repairs within Deer Valley Resort properties and common areas.Â
RESPONSIBIILITIES:
- Will work with various chemicals including pool chemicals, concrete sealers and painting productsÂ
- Includes working on ladders and scaffolding, use of power tools and equipment, as well as operating company vehicles in a variety of weather conditionsÂ
- Perform grounds maintenance, snow removal and ground care
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of the following: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall and various texturingÂ
- Electrical: HVAC - Understands electrical systems and HVAC systems. Troubleshooting, service, and repair of pumps, condensers, motors, lighting and 3 phase electrical panels and circuits
- Plumbing: Install faucets, seats, drain seals. Remove/install toilets, auto flushers. Troubleshoot drainage problems, water leaks, lack of water and effect repairs
- Carpentry: Understand woodworking and carpentry. Work on cabinetry, counters, walls, stairs and doors
- Drywall repair and painting interiors and exteriors when needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license
- CPO certified in maintaining balanced pools and hot tub chemicals
- Must work well with others and function as a team memberÂ
- Willing to learn new skills and perform tasks in a timely and safe mannerÂ
- Must have at least mid-level maintenance skillsÂ
- Must be service oriented and self-motivated
- Computer skills highly desirableÂ
- Be willing to perform other duties as assignedÂ
- Work schedules may include night shifts, weekends and holidaysÂ
- Basic hand tools required, specialty tools providedÂ
- Must be flexible to work in various Deer Valley Resort property locations and will work various shiftsÂ
- Must be able to perform heavy lifting, strenuous work, such as snow removalÂ
- Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditionsÂ
