Material Handler

This position is based on-site in Parsippany, NJ. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

MAIN FUNCTION:

Fill orders accurately using picking documents and/or RF scanners; move products, supplies, and other materials according to established policies and procedures. Operate hi-lo equipment and or pallet jack to effectively andsafely move products and materials. Label products with Shipping ASN Labels.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High schooldiploma or GED; at least 6 months of experience that is directly related to theduties and responsibilities specified
• Knowledge of warehousing methodology
• Ability tomultitask and work as part of a team
• Proficientwith barcode scanning equipment
• Forklift certification

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Store and retrieve product from pallet racks and other storage devices according toprocedures established by PNY.
• Accurate andtimely fulfillment of work orders and sales orders.
• Performinventory cycle counts and material transfers, as needed.
• Compliancewith PNY’s procedures and guidelines in order to minimize inventorydiscrepancies.
• Safelyoperate forklifts and pallet jack equipment.
• Maintain a clean work area on an ongoing basis.
• Stretch-wrapshipping products or stock materials onto racking.
• Load orunload trucks and trailers
