Job Summary:

Under supervision assists in the provision of information, maintenance of databases, report production and routine data analysis. Work is reviewed for completeness, accuracy and soundness.

Department Description:

Systems Solutions and Deployment (SSD) technology development, delivery, and deployment team, enables tech-forward systems for our care delivery teams. SSD delivers KP HealthConnect initiatives, Medical Informatics, Device Integration, Mobility Solutions, Connectivity, Digital/Web, Speech-to-Text, Video, Safe-and-Secure, and other solutions to support our integrated care delivery system. SSD provides and spreads business-led technology solutions at an appropriate scale, and with support and comprehensive training for your clinical and administrative workflows.

Project Description:

Summer is high time in SSD, with regional-level projects centered around enhancement of clinical operational workflows, including data analytics, creating data driven decisions, automating workflows for regression or project-based validation, innovation, event, meeting, and stakeholder coordination, workflow mapping and optimization, and documentation management.

Desired Majors:

Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Education, HealthCare Administration, Data Science or Public Health. 

Desired Skillsets:

Detail orientation, strong written and verbal communication, data analytics, understanding dashboards and presenting data, professionalism with multi-site stakeholder groups, process improvement mindset, document & version management, high Microsoft Office suite/cloud proficiency, process mapping, basic analytic skills (quantitative and qualitative), literature review and synthesis, presentation skills, time management, comfort with ambiguity, comfort with digital communication tools. 

 

Essential Responsibilities:

Examples of project support include: Collects, prepares and tracks reports and summaries such as: budget to actual expenditures, production statistics, and utilization of services and statistical records of performance. Performs a variety of data collection and analysis assignments. Prepares ad hoc data requests as directed. Prepares and/or formats graphs, spreadsheets and reports by utilizing office software. May be asked to maintain databases on a regular basis by entering data and preparing data extracts. May extract information from different sources to compile data. Executes existing queries for established reports.  Schedules conference calls and meetings. Contributes to the development of presentations materials. Provides administrative and project support as assigned such as copying, filing, entering and extracting data. Engages in and supports project work.  Kaiser Permanente conducts compensation reviews of positions on a routine basis.
