Job Description:

Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:*

  • Review IEPs as they are submitted from the field staff.
  • A rubric will be used to review the IEPs and provide direct feedback to the SES teachers and other service providers.
  • Review of measurable goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with Compliance Coordinator in providing feedback to field staff and updating compliance report as needed.
  • Duties may include filing, emailing field staff, and effectively communicating changes that need to be made to the IEPs.
  • Inputting information into the IEP information systems to accurately reflect current services and goals.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Basic knowledge of Individualized Education Plans and legal requirements of documents.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Computer skills – knowledgeable in Word, Excel, Google Docs, and Google Drive.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Knowledge of curriculum and instruction programs proven to be beneficial to pupils with special learning needs.
  • Excellent written and oral skills.
  • Ability to communicate well with students, parents and teachers.

Education and Experience:

  • AA or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
